A spin off of our 4-hour trip! A taste of Tampa Bay, for this trip we will be primarily focused on some of the reefs and structure inside the bay and back country ! This trip is perfect for the group that isn't sure of committing to the full 4 hours or more of fishing but wants a taste of it. It's also perfect for youngsters that might not have the attention span for the longer trips! We will be fishing for Snapper, Grouper, Mackerel, Sheepshead, Grunts, Trout, Redfish, and Snook.
Our 4-hour trip is ideal for fishing the reefs a few miles offshore Anna Maria. Usual species include mangrove snapper, porgies, sheepshead, grunts, red and gag grouper, hogfish and some pelagic's depending on the time of the year!
Our most popular trip! 6 hours gives enough time to run offshore and get on different reef species typically around 5-9 miles offshore! On these trips you can expect to catch: Grouper, Snapper, Hogfish, Mackerel, Jacks, Permit, Grunts, Porgies, and more depending on the time of year!
Our all-day trip is ran off the coast of Anna Maria Island around the 9-10 mile mark, fishing different reefs and structure offshore. With 8 hours of fishing you never know what you'll run into, but primary targets are: Snapper, Grouper, Hogfish, Mackerel, Jacks, Permit, Tripletail, Permit, Grunts, Porgies, and more depending on the time of the year!
A special trip that LZ offers! If you want to buckle in for a game of Tug-a-War with the ocean's top predator then this trip is for you. On these trips we use big baits, big gear, and we catch big fish! We run this trips during normal daytime hours or we start in the afternoon or around sunset and go well into the night!(we recommend no younger children on the nighttime trips/ captain's discretion)
